In ‘Get to Know Your Pet Using the Five Elements’, Aleid Hillebrand and Eric Laarakker will introduce you to the Five Elements - a millennia-old school of thought in Traditional Chinese Medicine. They discuss the character traits in addition to the physical and mental characteristics of our pets according to the Five Elements. When you get to know your animal’s strengths and weaknesses, you can better understand, train and, if necessary, give the animal the right extra attention that will benefit its well-being and health.

About Aleid

Aleid Hillebrand is a holistic veterinarian, veterinary acupuncturist, acupuncturist for people as well as an energy healer, being able to make contact at soul level and working at soul level.

Born in the Netherlands, she studied to be a veterinarian in Belgium and Austria. After her graduation in 1998 she moved to the United Kingdom to work as a regular vet for several years before falling ill with a severely debilitating illness which lasted 13 years before she was able to rehabilitate step by step. The period of illness was an extremely difficult and hard time for her but gave her invaluable insights and lessons from which she can still draw for clients.

Last summer I was ready to admit, and say out loud that I had the feeling "something bad was inside of me". I carried this feeling for years, yet never knew what to do. Around that same time I met Aleid. She suggested to have a "look" and see what could be done, that same night.
