Please read the following and only proceed with a session if you agree to these terms and conditions.
These general Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements regarding the delivery of services and goods from soulandenergyhealing.com and its owner Aleid Hillebrand, hereafter referred to as the ‘Company’.
The provisions of these General Terms and Conditions can only be deviated from if an express written agreement has been reached between all parties involved.
In these General Terms and Conditions, the ‘Client’ is defined as the natural or legal person who purchases services or goods from the Company on the basis of an agreement.
The applicability of any purchasing or other conditions of the Client is expressly rejected.
If there is uncertainty about the interpretation of one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions or a situation arises that is not regulated in these General Terms and Conditions, the interpretation must be made ‘in the spirit’ of these provisions.
If the Company does not always require strict compliance with these conditions, this does not mean that the provisions thereof do not apply, or that the Company would to any extent lose the right to require strict compliance with the provisions of these conditions in other cases.
If one or more provisions in these General Terms and Conditions are wholly or partially null and void or annulled at any time, the other provisions in these General Terms and Conditions will remain fully applicable. The Company and the Client will then enter into consultations in order to agree on new provisions, whereby the purpose and scope of the original provisions are taken into account as much as possible.
This means that the Client has made an oral or written agreement to these General Terms and Conditions and for Aleid to tune in or do a remote healing session (hereafter referred to as a ‘Session’) for themselves, their child, or their pet.
The Client is deemed to know and agree to the rates charged by the Company.
For payments from within The Netherlands, the payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, stating the invoice number. A payment request will be sent for quick and easy payment.
For payments from outside The Netherlands, payments must be made upfront through PayPal.
The Company is entitled to suspend the work if the Client, at their request, does not provide security for payment and other obligations arising from the agreement, with unabated obligation for the Client to reimburse the already preformed work and costs by the Company.
The Company is entitled to, after agreeing to terms, charge the Client for changes in the cost price of the Company’s performance(s), as a result of increased labour and material costs, government levies, exchange rates and other unforeseen circumstances not mentioned here, insofar this can be considered reasonable.
Every appointment, whether or not any performance from the Company has taken place, or any appointment which has not been cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, will be charged.
Complaints regarding invoices and invoice prices must be submitted in writing and must be received by the Company within five days of the invoice date. Failing to do so, complaints in this regard will no longer be accepted and the Client will be deemed to have agreed to the contents of the invoice. The obligation to pay is not suspended by filing a complaint.
If the Client fails to pay an invoice on time, the Client is legally in default. The Client will then owe interest of 1% per month, unless the statutory interest is higher, in which case the statutory interest is due. The interest on the amount due will be calculated from the moment that the Client is in default until the moment of payment of the full amount due.
If the Client is in default or omits the (timely) fulfilment of their obligations, all reasonable costs incurred in obtaining payment out of court will be borne by the Client. The extrajudicial costs are calculated based on what is customary in Dutch debt collection practice. However, if the Company has incurred higher costs for collection that were reasonably necessary, the actual costs incurred are eligible for reimbursement. Any legal and enforcement costs incurred will also be recovered from the Client. The Client also owes interest on the collection costs owed.
When ordering goods, the Client is obliged to purchase all ordered goods. Goods supplied by the Company cannot be returned or exchanged, regardless of the condition of the packaging.
The Company will execute the Session to the best of their knowledge and ability, and in accordance with the requirements of good ethical workmanship.
However, all Sessions are for personal guidance only. Nothing that is said or done is intended to be, nor should it take the place of, professional advice, including but not limited to medical, psychological, business, financial or legal advice.
Even though Aleid Hillebrand is a trained veterinarian and a veterinary acupuncturist, medical advice given about your pet or remote energy work cannot replace the advice of a regular working veterinarian who has seen and physically examined your animal.
Even though Aleid Hillebrand is a human acupuncturist as well, medical advice given for your health or remote energy work cannot replace the advice of your GP or any other medical professional.
The Company accepts no liability and/ or responsibility for any actions and/ or decisions any Client chooses to take or make based on their Session.
All information given after a Session is given in the understanding that nothing is 100% sure, truth or otherwise something that can be claimed, as these Sessions are based upon subtle energies and are open to interpretation. The Client always has free will to choose their own path, and accept or not accept any of the information given, in the understanding that they are of sound mind.
The Client is 18 years of age, or older, to book a Session, unless authorized by a parent or guardian.
The Client ensures that all information that may be necessary or helpful for the execution of the Session is provided to the Company in a timely manner. The Company is not liable for damage of any nature whatsoever caused by the fact that the Company relied on incorrect and/ or incomplete information provided by or on behalf of the Client.
The Company is not liable for any unexpected effects of the execution of the agreement, for which there was not sufficient reason to believe that these effects could occur before starting the treatment.
The Company is also not liable for the absence of the intended effect during or after a treatment.
In the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal and medical data are recorded that are necessary for the execution of the agreement.
Personal data are stored for as long as reasonably necessary, and for the maximum of twelve months after last contact, if no long-standing client relationship has been established. In case the Client requests in writing to have their data removed sooner, the Company will do so.
The Client has the right to inspect, correct and delete their own data (data portability).
Personal data is stored in a database with encryption. This database can be accessed with a password protected program. Computers on which this program is installed are also password protected.
As referred to under the GDPR, a processing agreement has been entered with parties that have access to the data required to execute the agreement.

Dutch law applies to these General Terms and Conditions as well as all matters to which these terms and conditions apply.

The Company reserves the right to update the terms and conditions at any time. These revisions are binding; therefore, we recommend to periodically review these terms and conditions.

Aleid Hillebrand is a holistic veterinarian, veterinary acupuncturist, acupuncturist for people as well as an energy healer, being able to make contact at soul level and working at soul level.
Born in the Netherlands, she studied to be a veterinarian in Belgium and Austria. After her graduation in 1998 she moved to the United Kingdom to work as a regular vet for several years before falling ill with a severely debilitating illness which lasted 13 years before she was able to rehabilitate step by step. The period of illness was an extremely difficult and hard time for her but gave her invaluable insights and lessons from which she can still draw for clients.
